Quebec/Eastern Canada Tea Towels

Eastern Townships Vintage Map Tea Towel

Eastern Townships Vintage Map Tea Towel

This tea towel features an 1867 map of the Eastern Townships of Quebec.

The Townships, as the region is locally known, are located south-east of Montreal and extend to the border of the USA. Also known as Estrie. The influence of the early settlers from England & Scotland can still be observed in the architecture and anglo names of many small towns, even though the region is now predominantly French-speaking. Home to Bishop's University, Bishop's College School, Lennoxville, Sherbrooke, North Hately, Magog, Knowlton, and great skiing at Mont Orford, Owl's Head and Sutton.

Makes a great gift!

Details: This is a 100% linen tea towel, approx. 16 x 25 inches.
